Role Brief:
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic thinker to join our team as a Workforce Intelligence & Business Analyst, focusing on workforce intelligence and operational data to support a 24/7 Mental Health Service. This role plays a pivotal part in delivering actionable insights that drive performance, efficiency, and service quality. As part of a digitally driven mental health organisation, you will play a key role in supporting data-led growth, innovation, and providing robust intelligence on areas for operational and clinical improvement. 
Responsibilities:
  • Analyse workforce data (e.g., scheduling, staffing levels, shift patterns, caseloads) to ensure optimal resourcing for 24/7 service coverage.
  • Monitor workforce metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as attrition, absenteeism, productivity, and capacity utilization.
  • Analyse call statistics and provide in depth insights into performance
  • Produce and deliver accurate and timely service performance reports on SLAs, including trend analysis and risk identification.
  • Collaborate closely with the Workforce Lead to design and implement strategic workforce planning initiatives.
  • Create and maintain workforce planning reports and dashboards for senior leadership and operational teams.
  • Recommend improvements to scheduling toolsworkforce management systems, and related processes.
  • Work with the Head of 24/7 Mental Health Services to deliver data-driven insights that inform clinical operations and staffing decisions.
  • Support business growth in a digitally enabled mental health environment through data-led recommendations and forecasting.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Identify and communicate areas for improvement in operations and service delivery through root cause analysis.
  • Build and maintain forecasting models to support demand planning and capacity optimization.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, accessibility, and governance, working closely with IT and data teams.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a business or workforce analyst role, ideally within healthcare, mental health, or digital service environments.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proven experience in workforce planningKPI reporting, and performance monitoring.
  • strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced 24/7 service environment.
Desirable:
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)CRM platforms, or workforce scheduling tools (e.g., NICE, Kronos, Deputy).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA or other healthcare data privacy and compliance standards.
  • Understanding of agile or service design methodologies in a healthcare or wellbeing context.
