Role Brief:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Program Manager to lead the delivery of multiple concurrent digital health and service implementation programs across Australia, working closely with cross-functional colleagues based in Ireland and the UK.
This role requires an exceptional communicator who can confidently manage enterprise-level clients, align diverse internal stakeholders, and oversee both technology implementation and service delivery operations. The successful candidate will manage multiple concurrent client implementations across insurance, government, education, and workplace sectors at any given time.
You will be accountable for end-to-end program governance, ensuring that implementations are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining outstanding client experience and expectation management.
Responsibilities:
Program & Portfolio Management
- Lead and oversee multiple concurrent client implementation programs across Australia, typically managing 4+ enterprise clients atdifferent phasesof delivery.
- Own the full program lifecycle from initiation and planning through to launch, transition to BAU, and benefits realisation.
- Develop andmaintainintegrated program plans covering digital platform configuration, technical integrations, operational readiness, and service delivery mobilisation.
- Ensure alignment between commercial commitments, technical capabilities, clinical governance requirements, and operational capacity.
- Monitor program health across scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies, escalating appropriately whenrequired.
Client Communication & Expectation Management
- Act as the primary senior delivery contact for key clients across insurance, government, education, and corporate sectors.
- Lead executive-level client communications, including requirements sessions,steering committees, status reporting, risk discussions, and milestonesign-offs.
- Proactively manage expectations, ensuring clear agreement on scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
- Translate complex technical and operational concepts into clear, confident, client-friendly language.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction while protecting internal delivery feasibility and quality standards.
Cross-Functional & International Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Clinical, Operations, Commercial, Compliance, Customer Success and more.
- Work effectively across time zones with colleagues based in Ireland and the UK, ensuring alignment, clear ownership, and strong communication rhythms.
- Facilitate internal governance forums, ensuring decision clarity and accountability.
- Manage third-party vendors or integration partners where relevant.
- Build strong internal relationships to ensure seamless delivery across both technology and service workstreams.
- Foster an ‘asynchronous first’ approach for internal workstream management.
Technology & Service Delivery Integration
- Oversee the implementation of digital platforms, integrations, reporting, and data requirements alongside operational service mobilisation.
- Ensure that service delivery components such as clinical staffing, SLAs, escalation pathways, and regulatory compliance are embedded into each program.
- Apply structured delivery methodologies, including Agile(Engineering)and Prince2 or PMP frameworks(Service Delivery) as appropriate to the workstream.
- Balance product roadmap realities with contractual client requirements.
Risk, Governance & Compliance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks across technology, service delivery, regulatory, and commercial domains.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and relevant industry standards in Australia.
- Maintain clear documentation, reporting structures, and audit readiness.
